My Shure V15 Type iii crumbled in my hands

Markshan had one at a favorable price (or at least he did a couple of days ago), as part of his Zero 100 parts thread.

I have seen V15 III shells stuffed with other than V15 III innards. Sold as the real deal. I would like to see the capsule when the OP removes it from the metal shell.
The white connector plate just looks wrong, as I have said.

Do me a favor. Put a tiny screwdriver into the front and gently push out the capsule. I want to see it.

Well, you can send me the cartridge, and I can look at it...

...and administer last rights, unless by some miracle the wires all broke right in the back and I can attach some jumpers and then solder to the rear plate and then reglue...

But that’s a long shot.

I can do that much, but from @petehall347 said that wouldn't fix it. I'm still going to try regardless.

Then he would need to fulfill my request first. Let's see what he does.

I tried prying it out of the metal shell. It's sealed shut. Don't see a way inside without smashing it, lol. Guess I'll use this as one expensive ass learning experience. [Mod Edit]
Case closed. RIP V15 iii.

It can be cajoled out from the hole in the front. Lever a tiny screwdriver between the metal shell and the capsule. That glue is long dried-out
