Looking great! Which Dayton drivers did you use? DC / RS / etc
A Dayton sub would be sweet to go with them.

Here is an update. Just added a Energy ES-8 sub. Sorry for the foggy image.

Nice systems, simple and effective. I hate subs myself, but maybe I've never heard a good one :) lol

Thanks Walle. Adding a sub will bring a fuller sound in the lower octave even with some full range speakers.

Added a Denon DN-C615 cd player. Got it really cheap.

Here is my recent pic of my system. I will be getting better acoustic foam panels and new blinds:).

Are you gonna finish the speakers? They look like raw mdf still.

There are such things - I heard a huge Klipsch sub at the Omaha zoo. It was in the very large vestibule just before you walked into the aquarium proper. It, and some small speakers up on the wall, were giving a presentation of thunderstorms, and just as I was leaving the room, they did an ABSOLUTELY realistic rendition of a lightning strike.

With that said, my impression is that you must sink some serious money into a sub if you want a good one.

I might not have time to finish them any time soon.

You're not supposed to hear a good (properly setup) sub! ;)

My updated setup with Nikko Alpha III amp and Nikko Beta II preamp. I clean the faceplate on the amp and preamp looks alot better now. Next would be to clean the inside. BTW, I put new blinds.:)

Since I got new blinds, next would be getting better acoustic treatment.
