Hi folks, I'm new to this forum it looks like a good one - love the advice always solder with your pants on! Anyway down to business, I've got a poorly Nad 3020e amp, it has given great service for 13 years, but now the left channel (in stereo mode) fades in and out then dissapears, the physical connection to the output still functions in Mono mode. So that leads me to believe it is something within the circutry on the L channel, prior to the Mono/Stereo switch.

I know little about the internal workings of amps although I know how to weild a soldering iron. Any advice would be grately appreciated - please send any replies in 'idiot mode' as I'm not familiar with the 'flange widget rectifier' just tell me what where it is on the board and I'll do the rest.

Many thanks in advance.
