Hi guys, just a little advice really. I have recently replaced my blown display bulb with resistor and LED and all working fine! However, I removed the bulb and before I fitted the new LED I attempted a continuity test on the bulb terminals with a multimeter. As I did this a small wisp of Magic Smoke was released. I have completed the project and everything works as it should. Question is have I potentially done any damage? Thanks.

I would guess that you cooked something, smoke of any kind is not good.
