Picked up this off the Bay for a Franklin but the seller packed it using air pillows.

The forty pound receiver probably popped them in the first twenty four hours.
Fortunately the front was undamaged and everything seems to be working, but one corner was indented/bulged on the side/top.

That was pretty easy to fix although it's obviously been messed up, it's flat once again.

The bigger problem is in the back, The area in between the speaker connections is dented in. How it was managed without puncturing the box... It wasn't in the sale pics, but you be the judge.

This has been giving me . I pulled out the board above it.

That whole connection assembly is direct connected to a circuit board and is too big to pull out. See those curves in the top middle of the pic? Those are solid bars of metal connecting the board to the speaker outs.

The longer bar on the right is +, shorter on the left -, the dent is in line with that center support in between the two. Too tight to get a screw down there. I'll be trying it with a nut after dinner, but I'll be surprised if it works.

I think this is my best bet,

I tried it with a screwdriver bit as a cross handle, but wasn't able to pull out the dent. I've got some improved force transfer equipment to try, again, after dinner. I'm just concerned about getting the hook out after.

Looks like I might have to wait to set it up until I can get some banana plugs.
Does Best Buy sell them?

On the plus side, it sounds incredible in stereo mode. And that was into my PS-10s. I thought they needed a recap, turns out they needed this. I'm very much looking forward getting this connected up in the living room.

I gave up and ordered banana plugs. Many years ago a friend of mine had a slide hammer with hardened steel hooks, that's what I need now.
That or the patience to tear it down so I can get a hammer to it. I don't see that happening any time soon.
