Neil Young equipment auction Dec 9

I find it a bit disturbing that Neil Young is a toy train enthusiasto_O

I'm guessing his son really likes them, based on the photo.
This ^^^^....

I remember reading somewhere that he first became interested in toy trains because his son(s) with CP really enjoyed them.
He was even part owner of Lionel trains for awhile and IIRC he is still on their board of directors.
I believe he also holds some patents for such as well.

So there's a quick explaination behind that deal.

FWIW

He's a SOTA turntable man. Huh.
I seen this auction a few days ago and noticed the SOTA, while I thought they have high starting prices on most things, not the case with the table. It's a early SOTA Sapphire, Sumiko Premier MMT arm and a what looks like a Sumiko Versioso Talisman Boron.

If the cart was still good I would love to get ahold of it.

240 page auction catalog came up for me - woah!
I love Neil's music, indeed, but thats too many riches for my budget!
Very cool, nonetheless!

Prices listed are estimated selling prices. Can be confusing sometimes, especially with the lowballs on a lot of the electronics here. Take the Dragon for instance. That will reach the high estimate within the first 5 seconds of bidding.
