New Dual Turntables?

They don't "look" too bad but the prices are a little whacked. $799 for the top end model?? A few bucks more and you'd be in Linn LP-12 territory.

Mike -- Those prices do seem to be whacked...unless they are being made in Germany, like the originals, to the same quality and performance standards as the originals. But, you're right, for that money.....an LP-12 would be the obvious choice unless there was some EXTREMELY COMPELLING REASON to try something else.

However, it is amusing to not that the cuing level for the top of the line one looks every similar to the cuing lever for my Dual 712 from 1976. So does the basic tonearm configuration. Sorry, I'm curious about who is making these and when the came back on the market. I hope that this thread will lead to some answers.
