Hello,
I just wanted to say this forum has a wealth of knowledge that I am trying to soak-up!
I have an old 2325 that has some static in the volume pot. I have read many comments about de-ox-it. Sounds like a great product and just might go any buy some. My question is has anyone tried ACF-50? This is used in the aircraft industry and is FAA approved for avionics, just great stuff!

Regards,

Nemo

Hey Nemo,

Welcome to AK. I'm in the SF Bay Area. DeoxIT works wonders and is highly recommended for audio gear. I've never used ACF-50 but there are other members who are in the aircraft industry so I'm sure they'll let you know what they think.

DeoxIT will surely get rid of that scratchy pot.

Cheers

ps. You should post an intro in the "Introductions" forum to get more of an audience.

Welcome to AK. DeOxit works wonders and it only about $8 a can. I'm sure the stuff you mentioned will work as well. The 2325 is a nice receiver and worth getting it back into top shape. :thmbsp:

Welcome to AK Nemo! The DeOxit is great stuff, I hope you get all the scratchyness out of your 2325.

Cheers!
