Can you describe the difference between tube engaged and passive use?

It's less annoying than channel imbalance at low volumes though. Honestly. How much are you adjusting the volume that it's any issue?

Not much, just takes some getting used to. Pretty much there already

Excellent. The resistors based volume is one of the main things that makes the Saga special. I bet you could count on one hand the number of preamps with this feature under a grand. And two of them are from Schiit.

Got my Schiit Saga the Other day...works perfect..also got the Schiit Mani for my turntable...really enjoying it.

The Saga is a lot of bang for the buck in my opinion.
