New to me Yamaha CA-810....happy !

A new relay should give you the sonic performance of a new relay, putting your speakers' signal through a potentially noisy old sanded relay contact is about as good as using a hose clamp to hold speaker wires together (IMO).

New always, in fact it's part of my PM routine, if I'm biasing a 30+ year old amp it's open anyway, ...

The new relays technically are different, the metals used on the original contacts of these old critters are not legal anymore in some cases, but excellent substitutions are now being used and I'm confident that for audio use they are at least as good as original.

Opening and biasing an amp is one thing, changing out the relay quite another, especially in the CA-810....
But I'll be doing much more, so yes the relay will go !
