Hey there!
I'm 47 and have finally acquired the hi-fi my parents bought in the late 60's. This thing has been around my entire life and I'd like to be able to use it as a broadcaster since the speakers are pretty damn good considering.
The tuner at works but it has a few issues that I am hoping I can get some help with.
The light bulb is no longer working so I can't read the dial - I'm hoping that's an easy (ish) fix.
But when I turn the knob to tune, it has a decidedly loud scratchy sound.
And (as of the recent move) it has a hum that I cannot silence.
It is a 1967(?) Philco Ford
Model 7H206PC
I can't find anything on the internet to help so I'm hoping someone can give me a little insight.
Please forgive me if this is not posted correctly.
