NHT Model 1C Foam Hole

Wornears

Age & Treachery
The foam surround on the bass driver of one of my 1Cs has a very small hole in it: about 1/8-inch diameter. It is not getting larger, and doesn't affect the sound, but is there any material I could apply to it to patch or close it? Or should I just leave it alone? Thanks for your advice.

Latex caulk applied sparingly should do it. Audio Xpress -- which used to be Speaker Builder and Audio Amateur magazines -- had an article on restoring foam suspensions with it. They used Alex brand. I've done the same, and it seems to work fine.
