Nikko Beta I manual

I can't seem to find a service manual for my nikko beta I preamp, Im havin issues with the tone defeat switch. Anyone out there have a manual? Any help would be much appreciated as I am new to this hobby.

Seems like manuals are not avail. Seems like the beta II eliminated that. (Tone defeat on the II was putting the tone controls in the neutral position. I would imagine fairly similar otherwise.)

It could be a dirty switch.. deoxit perhaps if you can get inside.

Yeah, I deoxed and cleaned. Nothing has worked, when switch is off the volume is low and full of distortion. When I flip the tone switch on there is basically no sound, except static when I move the volume up and down.

I did read some on those amps and seems like love'm or leave'm considering the msrp and resale today. models 20-50 seem to have more hits on searches.

Perhaps you can trace the audio path circuits with the model II manual.
