NooB DAC question

Hi,

I recently picked up an old Nakamichi CDC-3A 6 disc changer for practically nothing. It has 16 bit converters.

I was also gifted a Lexicon Omega audio interface for my computer. This has S/PIDF ins and outs with 24 bit converters.

Is it worth wiring the Nak through the Omega and using its converters?

Should I leave well enough alone?

Dunno....you'll have to try it both ways and see which you think sounds best.

There really is no definite way to say for sure.
