hello all- I am back in the game after a long 30 year break. As an unapologetic econophile I try at all time to exercise my cheapskatedness, while wrenching out the best sound quality possible. I don't always succeed, but find that even when I fail(a pair of CV dx-9s comes to mind) I learn about my sound preferences and who to believe/not. It's quite a game, as you know. Here's what I currently own and the prices paid, and I welcome any feedback/advice/hootingcatcalling/etc. TT's- AR-xa with MA 2002-$61, MicroSeike DD-24 with shure 97xe-$90, Adcom gfa555,gfp555 $475 for both(ouch), monitor audio studio 10's $200 with original stands, bozak b4000 free, POS sony cd player, who knows, at target 5 years ago. It is all a work in progress, soon to move to a new studio space(2 car garage in San Diego).:scratch2: peace to all chuck
