An interesting read, however the recommendations at the end are still a bit pricey for most of the twenty-somethings I know. It's nice to contemplate that good sound is still not passe`.

I agree (price,age) however i did spend quite a bit of money in the years 18-25 on car and home audio equipment. It really does come down to what your footnote states, "If it sounds good to my ears its good sound". I hear what you are saying and do believe they are sound words to listen by..
