    I wonder if you mean May 8 1977 (5-8-77) not August 5 1977 (8-5-77)

For what it's worth (admmittedly not much), it's still showing up here as your unedited date.

Picked this up today - bootleg - Berkeley Records B101; Live at the Felt Forum.
Sounds kind of thin - I played it with the loudness on.

Sound quality on this is distinctly "meh".

Regardless of how shitty that sounds, its still fun to have in the collection.

For sonic bliss, just pick up the Dave's Picks 22 (12/7/71) and charlie's master reel>dat>flac of the other 3 shows from that run. Those are likely the definitive felt forum recordings.

And if your after more fun, I think there is a jerry moore 1st gen tape of marty weinbergs audience tape of a portion of one of those shows but I forget which one.
Or you can seek out the old fm broadcast of 12/5. I don't know what's on that record you have but I bet its from that fm broadcast. That was one of the first dead tapes I heard.

Reckoning ^^^ is a great album. I lost "Dead Set" some years ago, and will be replacing it sooner than later.

Got to see Unbroken Chain in Charlotte 3-23-95. Hornsby showed up as a surprise guest on a grand piano. Great show, there is a nice Schoeps CMC64 FOB (generally taped in great seats with great mics/gear in Front Of the (sound)Board) floating around. Other recommended FOB shows include anything taped with the Ambisonic AMS-ST250 mics (mostly/perhaps all taped by the same guy, his list is insane, lots of Madison Square Garden Shows (like Sept 93 with Branford), Boston Garden, and other East coast runs. And 12-5-92 Compton Terrace with the AKG460s. Second set starts out with "you gotta give him shit, he's getting married". Up close, feel like you are there sound.

The reissue of Anthem of the Sun is better than the WLP original. Hands down the way to go
