Old Alps 24SB11 Pot, can it handle DC?

Hi guys, I have an old radio I'm upgrading with new components, but they'll all be DC instead of AC. The radio has an old Alps 25SB11 potentiometer, does anyone know if it can handle 12v of DC, with probably no more than 1 amp of current? It only lists 125v AC and 3amps on the pot, nothing about DC.

I'd say if it can hold 125V AC and 3A, it won't be a problem to work with just 12V DC and 1A DC.

How would you have 1A flowing from 12V DC ? What's the potentiometer value?

When replacing capacitors, I know the AC rating is always lower than the DC rating, so a 450V AC cap can hold approx 600V DC or more , depending of the type of capacitor.

My mistake, the pot has a switch that's rated for 125v and 3a AC, that's what I want to run DC through, not the potentiometer itself. I should have been more clear.
