Long story shortend as best I can. Little brother passed away 2 years ago June 5th. Left behind a pair of JBL L100T speakers. Parents put them in an outdoor metal storage building. Big mistake. Got my hands on them 2 months ago. Looking like new now. Sound even better. In the effort to make repairs I aquire a second set of L100T speakers 200$. I will be restoring them now. I came up with a plan. I will gradually aquire one NAD 2600a for each speaker and run it in bridge mode. Can't say that I have found a better amp for the money. I figure 4 of them bridged (one for each speaker) should give me enough to dim the street lights in my small town. Using a NAD 7150 as my preamp. Nice stand 45 dollars. Loving the sound so far. Thoughts? Opinions? Pictures coming soon. By the way. I'm 61, listen to Pink Floyd, Sabbath, Stones, Hendrix, Zeppelin and yes all mixed with a little Sinatra, Mancini and Goodman. The kids in my neighborhood think I'm nutz.

Dont see any reason it wont work...

One thing is for sure, these 2600 are indeed some pretty stout amps.
So it's gonna be d@mn loud with 4x 2600/L100t.

 From a fellow 2600 owner,LOL.

Don't worry about the kids. There are a bunch of them that are really getting into that type of music....once they hear it the right way.

A few of the KIDS at work have already heard my older friends talking about them and are begging to come over to the house to see and hear them.
You know I am going to enjoy every minute of this.

Been a while since my last updates/comments. I warned y'all this might take a while. Had some medical issues then I moved to another state. Wasn't planning that the last time I was on here. Anywho I managed to get the l100T speakers of my brothers restored. With the NDA 2600a they sound fabulous. Using Tidal as a source for some good quality music along with a turntable and a few other sources I have. Back to the main item. When I said I was going to restore the speakers I never got around to showing any of you what I was dealing with. Here are a few pictures for you. The first is a GOOD representation of just how bad little brothers speakers were when I took possession of them. The second is how they look now. Oh and yes I am still trying to expand in the direction I originally planned. Purchased another NAD 2600a today and another set of L100T speakers. Will be picking those up this week. Planning on having the other two 2600a amps some time in the next month. Then I will work on cassettes, reel to reels, CD, DAC, Behringer speaker management system, and other items. Already weighing the possibility of building a pair of 4355s. Gotta get this done first. So far this thing sounds fabulous.

Curious how you connect the 7150 to the four 2600a's? 7150 Pre-out using 'Y' connectors?

Great! Good thing is that even though you have bigger plans to use 4 of the speakers, you currently have the two up and are enjoying them. Be sure to crank them tomorrow (the 5th) for your brothers sake.
Good job on the woofer rebuild. They probably would have needed the new surrounds anyway. You can also of course look into the T3 mod upgrades for those. Maybe on that 2nd pair. I recapped a pair of L80T I had a couple years ago with good results.

JamVal,

For now, YES that is my plan. I have other solutions, some are pretty elaborate(crazy) but I am anxious to try different approaches.
