Opinions on MA6900 and MA2275

I would like to heard opinions on the MA6900 and MA2275 integrated amplifiers. Are they much different in how they sound (tube vs ss) ? Which would be the better option to mate with Proac Tablette Reference 8 Signature or Joseph Audio rm7si mk2 monitors in a small room.

They are both very good ... The MA2275 is very new so not that many people have had a chance to hear it, espescially side-by-side with the MA6900.

I would suggest, you would best come to your own conclusions by doing the audition thing.

You probably won't find that much of a tonal difference between the SS and tube versions of Mac amps. The SS tend to have a little more bass authority, but with the smaller-sized speakers you are considering, I don't think you will hear the difference.

Haven't heard the MA2275 yet, but I've owned the MA6900 for a little over two years, and I'm really pleased with its performance - superior to my old MC2205/C-26 in every way.
