Put a glass of water centered on the top level once you select your intended location and see how much the water moves around while people are walking around the house. The lighter the shelving, the more vibration that influences the stylus in creating background noise.

Probably won't have any problems there. Solid concrete floor in the basement. I will definitely check it all out, though.
These are fairly heavy shelves and are supposed to be well built. Will know by the end of the week and put up a review.
 
That concrete floor should be solid. I have a spring suspension lp12 on cabinet, concrete floor. No feedback issues.
