Just got the Ortofon Super OM 30 mounted on the Thorens, and, it is pristine. The sound is super, great presence, nice imaging, and lots of detail. I was very surprised at how quiet it sounded, the autotechnica was very noisy, lots of pops, and very scratchy.
This sounds totaly clean. I realize that the price difference is major, but did not expect this much difference. I scored this from Vortego, thanks Vince, it is everything you said it would be.
