Listening to another wonderful radio show this one featuring Jimmy Stewart. Six Shooter was one of the serious action radio dramas produced in the Early 1950’s. Jimmy Stewart voices the part of Britt Ponset a wondering cowboy/gunfighter/grubline rider. It is like a series of really good radio shows that aired during this time. Gunsmoke, Frontier Gentleman, Ft Laramie, Frontier Town, etc. One wonders what somebody could do today with such radio dramas with podcasting.
All of these great radio shows and much more are available for streaming, and downloaded at the Internet Archives. I have such shows loaded onto my IPhone using the Pro Equalizer app.
