Question, I'm selling a guitar and someone wants to trade these for it, don't know much about these, but they look like they would be overkill for my current setup. (Yamaha CR-820, Dual Turntable & Cerwin Vega LS-5 plus a Sub)

Low end PA speaker, even among the Peavey line. Keep shopping.

A PA speaker to keep your eye out for home use is the EV SH-1503

Run, do not walk, away from this deal as quickly as possible! After many years in the ProSound business, I've had the misfortune of hearing a number of Peavey T300 speakers. They are only barely up to the task of the P.A. work they were designed for, and would make disastrous-sounding home audio speakers.

How much can you sell your guitar for? Maybe we can send you in the direction of some nice speakers in that price range.
