Trying to put the finishing touches on a Philips GA 222 turntable. I had to replace the defective on off switch. The units makes a pop when you turn it off. I just replaced the safety capacitor on a Dual 1245 because it had the same symptom and I had an extra safety capacitor. I installed this on the Philips and it still makes a loud pop when you turn the unit on of off. I wired the safety cap across the 110 volt input. Anybody have any other ideas?
