Picked up a Fisher RS-1035

RUNNING WILD!!!!!
I do all my music with headphones and I want another receiver to put in another room in the apartment. Long story short I got this mint RS-1035 for $50:

I usually stay away from the SS Fishers because of their build quality (then again I didn't do a lot of research on these) but I must admit the build quality on this receiver is amazing (plus it was clean).

For my Grados headphones it drives them fine (but with a little less lowend than my Marantz 2230) and the phono is good (but I like my Marantz a little better). More or less with this Sanyo built Fisher I was pretty impressed.

Cool find man.

That era Fisher SS units are well made, despite no longer being Avery's company. Hope it treats you well.

The Fisher is being used for my computer DAC setup so I use the headphone amp in the receiver. The headphone amp drives the Grados to pretty good levels so for $50 for a headphone amp with options is great.

Once again using the Fisher with my VPI Scout TT the phono is good but I prefer the Marantz.
