I thought I'd swan my recap project.

I took GoGoFast's interior shot and annotated it.

I really owe you guys a debt of gratitude. When I joined you six years ago, I really knew nothing about this stuff except that I liked the sound of tube gear. You helped me pick this unit out and kept me from plugging it in as soon as I got it. You directed me to Jim McShane, from whom I bought the kit and held my hand as I waded in to this project.

It sounds fabulous... Really nice. I had to laugh a couple times during my first listen. The amp sounds... confident, I don't know how else to put it.

I have an MC-240 that needs a similar treatment. Lots of projects right now. Just finished recapping my 1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb.

I just reached out to McShane about getting a kit for refurbing my Mc240. He wanted to know how far I wanted to go with it. Since It is working well, I think just the caps but don't really know. How extensive was your rebuild?
