Pictures of Vintage GM cars!

Hmm, how'd I miss this part of the forum?

Purchased this in May '91 as my first car. Been working on it over the years. Original 400, TH400 w/ Hurst Dual Gate, 3.55 posi.

As might be evident from my username, the Buick Wildcat is likely my favorite. The '65 and '67 Wildcats are my favorite, while the '60 Invicta is my favorite from the "finned" era. The '65 Riviera, too, is another. My dad was into the Buicks, and the '65 Wildcat we had was a family favorite. It's sad that these rusted so quickly--five years after we got rid of it at the junkyard, I would have been thrilled to drive it in my high school years. Instead, we had a '73 Pontiac Catalina, and that ended up being my "brown bomber" that went to many jazz band rehearsals and gigs during high school.

I have no Wildcat now, but if I ever found a nice 2 door '65 convertible, and had the money, it would be hard to resist. The '66 had the Gran Sport package available, but I don't care for the minor changes they made to the front and rear, or the updated dashboard.

Nice krazybones, I had a '66 convertible Malibu in high school with a 327/300hp and a 4 speed. Unfortunately it was an east coast car and was quickly rusting away.

Here are some of the purty upgrades...
Rebuilt the 12 bolt w/Forged 31 spline axles, 3.73 posi, alum cover, Hotchkiss upper and lowers, sway bar, all stainless lines...oh and new stainless gas tank with all new braided lines.
