Pictures of Vintage GM cars!

Well, I guess you've already beaten yourself up enough over that. Must have been a fun car, though.

Oldest one I got right now ... then again, weren't many of the series one built.
Do I get bonus points if it's from a now defunct brand? <G>

Another year goes by and more things accomplished. Roof sanded and painted (not bad for my first attempt at painting), hand wet-sanded rest of car, polished and waxed; some dents worked on; new drive axles, upper/lower control arm bushings and ball joints; new head rests and some other small things. Think I'm going to forgo the vinyl top and leave it as a two-tone like this. Will need to do a bit more work on the roof before a permanent paint. And there's plenty to do before I paint the rest of the car. No hurry, haven't been in one for about nine years since I've been wrenching on the ole' beast.

Photographer at the track took this picture last weekend. The passenger side of my car has a reflection of the lane worker, kinda neat.
Looks just like my ma's car, circa 1975. 250-I6/PG, but it had a 3.55 rear so it scooted along okay. Wouldn't do big smokies like that, though. I know, because I was out there trying every Friday night.

That 1st gen"Downsized" GM big cars-tend to me to NOT look that good-But that Saxony Red over white Caddy'79 CDV-I REALLY like that car !

OK gentlemen this is my ultimate all time dream car on the planet right here:

1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz - ALL ORIGINAL PAINT, TOP and interior. Special Order interior of red/white which was not a regular production interior combination in '59 Biarritz.

Also very unusual plain glass (not tinted a/k/a "EZ Eye" glass as was installed in 99.9% of '59 Cadillacs). Bucket seats was available at no extra charge on this model.

Probably one of the most valuable '59 Cadillacs in existence.
