I finally added the last source that I am interested in to my gear complement: a Pioneer CLD-D502 Laserdisc player. Everything seems to work well, but it is from 1993, so I would like to give a bit of a once over, and learn what it is designed to do. Manuals do seem to be a bit scarce. Anyone have these manuals and can scan me up a set? Or point me to am online set?

I picked up some great music and concert LDs to go with it. I'm not much of a movie buyer, since I don't like watching movies more than once, but music and concerts are just fine for that.

    Thanks,
    Rich P

    There's a forum here:

    http://www.lddb.com/

You might post a message there and see what happens. I think they also have a manuals database.

    Cheers,
    Larry B.

There are several guys at lddb that helped me when my 505 broke. One in particular with frog in the username sent me the plastic piece that holds the gears that moves the laser.
