pioneer dv7400 can it be used as a cd transport?

I want to use it with a DAC and am not at sure as to how to hook it up and what kind of interconnects i would need. Any help would be appreciated. cheers, Primo

Digital coax from the Pioneer's PCM out, in to the DAC. RCA interconnects from analog output of the DAC into your analog amplification system.

Digital coax from the Pioneer's PCM out, in to the DAC. RCA interconnects from analog output of the DAC into your analog amplification system.

Or optical toslink output from the Pioneer to the optical input on the DAC. Then RCA analog out from the DAC to your receiver/pre-amp.
