Pioneer Function Indicator Lamps

I need a hand here. Does anyone know what the requirements are for the replacement lamps for the function indicators on a Pioneer TX-9100 tuner? I sold one to a guy and missed the FM indicator lamp being out (everything else worked great; it was an error of omission) and want to help him out getting it replaced. He says he's up to it, so If I can do some legwork on it that would be great. My guess is that they probably would be similar to the same in the receivers of the time.

Also, has anyone done this? Are the lamps easy or awkward to access? As always, any and all help is appreciated.

I've been selling people 3mm, 8v, 40ma lamps for function indicators on the receivers, maybe the tuners use the same? I do add a sleeve to the lamp to make it 4mm as the originals might be 4mm. Let's see if anyone else has some info, Dave.
