Pioneer SA 8100 caps

Did you say birds?
Hey guys and gals. I was cleaning up this unit when I noticed a bulge in one of the power caps. They look pretty straight forward to replace. That auction site has these https://www.ebay.com/itm/4PCS-ELNA-...980889?hash=item5458239959:g:JaoAAOSwc-tY24Cd. They also have Nichicon with the same specs. Will these work or is these something better out there? Please excuse my limited knowledge and my inability to look stuff like this up on digikey or mauser.

I did have a reliable source quote these, and based on the above if they will work, the pricing seems pretty high for said source.

Current size is 1.625 (30mm) diameter and 3.125 (80mm) height for both.
See pics for cap info.

Thanks for the help.

Best is to measure them, do not look like they are leaking.

You can use practically any 30mm ecap, you just have to figure out how to move the wires over.
I would not buy from ebay, go to mouser or digikey etc.
the most expensive are the screw terminals that make it easier with a solder lug, but the cheaper solder pin types are just as good, look for lowest esr, highest ripple current, temp, life specs.

they will leak from near the lugs if they are going to leak . if the aluminium top really is bulged stand well clear

Thanks for the response guys and gals. I went thru Jim McShane just to make sure I installed the right ones. The new ones are installed and everything is good.
