Hello
I have an old Pioneer SA-8500II.
The phono section is popcorn effect with considerable displacement of the cones speraker.
I saw that the culprits are the 2sa725 2sa726 2sc1919 mounted phono board.
I would like to replace them all. What do you recommend to replace these transistors?
Thanks

BUT you really need to do a buck or two's worth of caps too, since you're in there. Complicated slightly by a non polar output cap. no big problem tho...

Thanks for the quick response.
I already replaced the 2sa725 with the bc560-c (rigth channel)
2sa725 with 2sa992 (left channel).
For "ear" all is well
Do you think that they should be replaced with all those who advise me.
Or keep it because it works well ... or sell it ...
This amp is worth?

PS
sorry for my english .. I'm Italian
and the use of perhaps the wrong forum

No, you came to the right forum, and as for keeping or selling it, that is up to you. I would replace the transistors with the recommended ones if I had it, but that is just me. About the question of what it is worth and selling it, please read this:

From the Pioneer forum guidelines:

3). Promoting of personal gear for the purpose of selling will not be tolerated. If you want to sell something on AudioKarma, use the “Classifieds Forum” or take the chance of getting banned.

4). Posting of eBay, Craigslist, Audiogon, etc., auctions and for sale links should be posted in the "Dollars and Sense" forum only, not in the Pioneer forum. Furthermore, ALL valuations of equipment questions should only be asked in the "Dollars and Sense" forum as well.

OK Thanks for the reply.
Nooo ...!!!! I do not want to sell anything at all ...
If I want to know how to sell.
It was just a question ... whether to keep or discard it.
thanks
