I have a SX-440 I recently acquired. The only light the works is the Pointer. I opened up the case and all of the bulbs were gone except one. It said K3.8V 0.3A on the base.
The manual says they are the following numbers.
Pilot Lamp – E22-012-0 I assume these are the main lights
Pilot Lamp – E22-015-0 I assume this is for the meter I assume this is a different brightness/ wattage?????
Pilot Lamp Socket – K41-002-B
They all attach to a bracket to keep them in place with a little connection on the backside. (See pictures) Some are totally broken. I see a lot of LED replacement on Google.
I would like to know the best way to remedy this. And the most cost effective.
How do I fix the wiring tabs or do I use a different socket. If I use a different socket how do I use the little bracket?
I have read the LED can be to bright or pointed and you should sand them is that the prefered method?
I am able and have everything to solder and have a electrical background.
Although electronics repair is totally different than electrical repair and I understand that.
Thanks in advance!
