Hi,

I'm sitting here almost finishing recapping / re-transistoring my SX-636 and I'm down to the last couple caps - then I come across a capacitor which seems way off.

According to the service manual and the recap shopping lists available on this forum - C12 on the power supply board is supposed to be a 220uf / 16v capacitor. In my unit - ive just removed a tiny grey elna 10uf / 16v capacitor??????!

The unit has been working fine, so I don't understand - is there any chance that this is supposed to be there? should I leave it in or change it to the 220uf cap that I have purchased?

I went back and modified the posted list. to 10uf.
Should have done it sooner, sorry....

Also changed my personal spreadsheet.

In the 737 the corresponding cap is 22 uf, (c17 awr-058) so 220 could be a typo/error...
