I do know that for to92-ish stuff, if you order KSx replacements with the first suffix a 'C' the pinout is the same as old, otherwise it has to be a proper lady (and cross its legs...)

I did visit that link at some stage and did gather the cap list. Seems I've misplaced it somehow. I have now gone back and took another look. It should be a Sticky. Perhaps we can all have a turn at bumping to keep it alive.
There is no mention of the Filter Caps though. Have you a part number for these Larry ?

IIRC, the capacitor clamp size in the SX-750 is 40mm, the Nichicon LLS linked to above have a diameter of 35mm. You may have to increase the voltage spec to find capacitors of the correct diameter.

As we speak I'm tidying up my BOM list to include the info that Rick posted the other day. My rep from X-on (Australian arm of mouser) has re sent my excel sheet outlining those obsolete items and as such I have amended these.
I will now check to find a suitable Filter cap/size.
How far up in the voltage scale would you limit it to ?
Can I also up the uf value ?

the rectifier cap is driven always, to the voltage it is driven to (how is that for a circular answer) so the whole 'no less than 1/3 of cap voltage' adage does not apply, it aint a momentary signal.

you might have to play games with diameter vs height to get em to stick in the metal rings - it THAT is the overriding factor. Me, function over form, I will gladly chop up some phenol board and screw that to the chassis and push the leads thru the holes and solder to em...to get any movement that would jeopardize the leads hitting chassis, you would pretty much have to be in a plane crash which if you think about it, might mar the silver face a wee bit.
