    Greetings!

I am bringing back to life a wonderful receiver that has served me well for many years. In another post (my first ever) I have asked for help with another problem, but in this thread I would like to learn from you how to replace burned out light bulbs that illuminate the dial. There are three bulbs that are soldered to wiring, and secured in a soft rubber socket that holds the assembly in a plexiglass housing.

Do any of you have an idea what kind of bulb I can use as a replacement?

    Thanks!

Thanks! Will do. I have an SX-1050 also, I can't remember how those lights are working; I will check before ordering the three for the SX-750.

Hey, I just picked up an sx-750 with burnt out dial lights. I'd love to hear what you ran into in the process of replacing yours. Were you able to get the rubber assembly as one piece with the bulb included or did you have to solder a new bulb into the socket? Thanks!
