Pioneer sx-780 cap jumpers

I have a sx-780 that has jumpers in place of two capacitors. They are located right infront of the meter adjust trimmers. I've recapped most electrolytics and was wondering why these are jumpered out. Values are supposed to be 4.7uf 35v, grouping of 4 of the same value there only mine has 2 and other 2 are jumpers.?

well, those are c325 and c326, jumpering both essentially grounds the minus side of the power meters, instead of being able to
develop a negative voltage. I guess it would reduce the meter "gain" making the meter less sensitive. Since there is a trimpot adjust
that acts through to minus or ground to adjust full scale deflection - I surmise maybe there was too much "gain" or swing and the
trimpots may not have been enough in some cases of more sensitive meters.

Sweet, thanks for the reply. I've seen them with em and many pics online without em too. Maybe they made a design change. Looks like a factory jumper
