Thanks for sharing maybe I can learn a few things here and better understand my Pioneer gear.
Or perhaps they could be included in the Digital Docs section. I've looked at these a number of times when doing recaps to ensure I'm substituting a cap with the right properties.
Thanks for bumping this. I had completely forgot about it.
I was referred to these by MTF; some of the basics manuals are just what I need. Thank you for posting them!
Tuning Fork Guides No. 1-9 in HQ scans
High Quality scans of the Tuning Fork Guides No.1 - No.9
Pioneer Tuning Fork No.1
Pioneer Tuning Fork No.2
Pioneer Tuning Fork No.2 Supplement
Pioneer Tuning Fork No.3
Pioneer Tuning Fork No.4
Pioneer Tuning Fork No.5
Pioneer Tuning Fork No.6
Pioneer Tuning Fork No.7
Pioneer Tuning Fork No.8
Pioneer Tuning Fork No.9
These were offloaded to dropbox because of the significant size of the lot (355MB altogether) in order to keep the original site not going bellyups. Also started uploading these to HifiEngine as they allow larger uploads.
Both for the whole files, and the bump that allowed me to find this!
Thanks to Retro Stereo for making this a STICKY!!
Tuning Fork Index
I made up an index while reading through these. It's slightly more detailed than the individual Tables of Contents, and collected on a single page.
Since im new to repairing electronics what i have read so far has helped me a lot, in one area in particular is part identification. plus the choice of parts the manufacurer used at the time and why. also there is a lot of basic electronics in this read. over all a must read for noobs down load the whole list found on page 5. as a time piece it has value
I just found this thread looking for info on a Pioneer receiver I just picked up, thanks for all the great info.
Me likewise. Thank you so much!
Here is another one
http://www.cieri.net/Documenti/Altri marchi/Pioneer - Tuning Fork No.2 (supplement) (~1980).pdf
Did you manage to scan these two?
Link to the Pioneer Relay replacement thread: http://audiokarma.org/forums/index....-1010-939-838-et-al-relay-replacement.150439/
Link to Marty's list of recap and parts lists: http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/index.php?threads/pioneer-recap-lists-sticky-suggestion.457663/
I will add more as warranted - thus while NOT it's own sticky, it IS listed IN a sticky!!! A service and parts sticky, no less - instead of burning up a sticky.
Some of these scans are old but good.
Ed in TX, you mentioned that if you had a scanner....
I'm in TX and have an HP scanner and it can put pages
together also, or removed them if one is bad and finally
make one complete PDF file.
With good scanning resolution you can read the pages
when they are smaller in (font) size.
A good example is the Tuning Form No.@ Supplement from
cpwf post #66 (somebody [can't see it now] in post xxx).
If you pm me I can scan them.
Also, someone had scans of Tuning Fork 1 - 9 posted.
About 8 years ago. The drop box isn't working any
longer. Anyone know where those are or have
copies of them?
Separate names with a comma.
