Please help me with my AU-101.

My AU-101 has a bit of an odd problem. The left channel seems to have a more treble and less bass, and the right has the exact opposite. Also, the tape montor switch is fuzzy (dirty contacts I'd assume). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well this is just a shot in the dark but your power issue sounds like a bias problem. I'd agree with the dirty contacts in the tape monitor switch. Give it a good cleaning with De-Oxit 5 or Nu-trol. As for the other issue that'll require a tech's expertise and test equipment.
