Hi there!
I have a rather old yamaha MC1202 Mixer which i love coz of the warm sound it produces. The bad thing is that two VU Meters have died on me. I was thinking of buying a pair of new ones and repace the movement mechanism. Apparently i need to know two things according to a friend of mine;
the resistance and the uA @ peak level.
Accroding to the manual the Frequency Response is:
"+1, -3dB, 20Hz - 20kHz @ +4dB into 600 ohms"
So i guess that 600 ohm this is one of the values i need to know. The other value i have no clue how to get
I've called Yamaha Scandinavia but they didn't had the specifications for the VU Meters nor did they have any Replacement meters either
What i do have is one VU Meter that is still intact. Maybe i could get some value out of that one?
The owner's manual is here:

I guess that the MC802 and MC1602 uses the same type of VU Meters.
Many many thanks in advace!!
