It's not bad, but I've never used it in a "critical" situation. Let me just say that I haven't noticed anything unpleasant. For awhile, that little pre was "the rage" for T-Amp setups.

Nice! What's in the cabinet?

I don't know. Magnavox or Philco or Zenith perhaps. It originally (before I acquired it) had a TV tube on one side (60/40 split) and the speaker on the other, all long gone. I don't think it had a Hi-Fi setup (based on ventilation).
