Pop on start up

Picked up a Thorens TD 160 recently. I get a pop on start up; that is when I turn the 33 knob from off to on. Also get a lesser pop on shut off. Will Deoxit somewhere help this? :scratch2:

You may need to replace the capacitor that is supposed to supress that transient. I doubt if deoxit will help (though its worth trying).

Look for the cap on the power switch.
