:scratch2: Let's see if I can remember what Marantz I have...
2215 (2, but one has a dead transformer :sigh
2226B
2250B (out on long-term loan)
2265
2275 (newest receiver!
)
2285b (may get a second one very soon)
1180dc
300dc (My newest Marantz, and already my favorite before I've even heard it!
)
5020 (x 2)
SD-5020 (dual speed!)
SD-4000/6000/? Esotec (forgot the number; it's the Esotec cassette deck)
At least one other cassette deck; I forget the number (5025, perhaps?)
4025 ("casseiver"}
TT 200 (turntable)
6150 (turntable)
UPDATE: Since posting the above, I have added:
2252B
Esotec PM-4 integrated amp
And I forgot to list an early Marantz "boombox" (forgot the exact model number)
AT-5 Digital Tuner
Model Twenty-Seven receiver
Sadly, only three receivers and the Esotec cassette deck have the wooden cases. I know where there are many more (including rarer and more desireable) Marantz units for sale here (Hong Kong), but mostly at priices higher than I want to pay. For me, half the fun lies in getting bargains, and with persistence and patience, they do come along cheaper (i paid $45 for the 2285b; $100 for the 300dc, and less for everything else), so I prefer to wait for the bargains. Eventually, I'll have better units (a 3650 to go with the 300dc, for example; a 23XX receiver or two, and a top Quadradial, although I'll probably have to pay a little more to get these) and then I'll probably cull out some of the lesser models on the list above.
UPDATE: Not sure I can remember all of what else I can add, but at the very least I have added since the above was posted:
silver-fronted (non-Esotec) SD-4000 cassette deck
5025 cassette deck
1180dc
1250
1060 (with wood case)
Esotec PM-5.
3650 preamp (to go with the 300dc amp)
another TT (TT 220 ???)
EDIT: More updates:
I have added to the above:
two 3650 pre-amps
two 300dc amps
3250B preamp
2252
2050 tuner (European)
SD-6000 (dual speed) cassette deck
Two 5010 cassette decks (rated XXX-rare, so I got them)
another 5025 cassette deck
Another 2275 with wood case
another 5025 cassette deck
2270
Model 27
Heck, that first list is so old I don't think I can remember exactly/all of what I've added since then. LOL Additions also include some rarities, like a couple of digital audio timers, the ultra-mini stacked components, a couple of turntables, the television tuner, and at least 7 of the rarest Marantz boomboxes, including the PMS/CRS 6000 (with the turntable built-in), TWO 7000s, and an 8000.
