Power light pulsating...

Hello all,

I'm sitting here listening to my recently re-capped AU-505 and I noticed the orange power light is pulsating slightly. Any opinions?

By-pass the power switch with a jumper lead and see if the pulsating stops.

Won't do much good. The switch contacts are pitted and carboned up. If it is the switch.

May be enough contact material to burnish the contacts. But if the pitting is to deep. It will just rear its ugly head again down the road.

You might get lucky and have it be a bad solder joint on the lamp. Fingers crossed for you.
