Power Switch pioneer Amp

-don't go round hungry-
Anybody have this switch for a Pioneer SA-6500II integrated amp. Its an ALPS switch, thats all I know, other than it is broken. . .

Switch problem

After looking at the pic real close then taking it apart, I dont think it is the switch itself thats broke, it is the plastic on the end of the arm, I took one out of a dead Pioneer tuner, its broke too. Maybe I can glue it back together? ? ? Anyone had a similar problem? I read where a lot of old Pioneer tuners had a problem with the power switch. . .I think I found it. . . Guy

....worth a try.

JB WELD

I do have some 2 componet epoxie that I fixed one with (I wouldnt want to get aggressive though) I remember JB weld well I might have some here in a box somewhere.

The reason I recommended JB Weld is that it seems to stick to plastic a bit better than most epoxies. There are two-part epoxies that are specifically designed for plastics, but I have not tried them. Most standard epoxies can't seem to get a good grip on plastic surfaces...
