Problem with CD-RW!

Ok I burn some MPEG files on a CD-RW and when I go to look at it later they are gone. Yet the CD still claims most of its data space has been taken up so hhey are still on the CD-RW but for soem reason I cannot see them. So can anyone help me out here?

If it's a rewriteable, try erasing it and burn the music again. Or try with another CDR.

Well that is just it, the machine that they are being burned is the same one that is trying to read them.

CD-RW discs are notoriously unreliable. There are brands that are better than others (Verbatim), but, for instance, the Memorex or Maxell's have turned out to be shit.

CD-R's are soo cheap nowadays, I see no reason not to just burn it and forget about it.
