What are the differences? The 440 has Schotz Noise Reduction; the 450 probably does not.

I remember the 440 from my retail days, great little tuner worth grabbing, but not the 450. Found a French forum that claimed it was a NAD 4150 clone and pictures of the outside bear that out. According to Tuner Information Center the noise reduction on the NAD 4150 and 440 are the same. Besides fewer presets on the 450/4150 I have no idea what differences there are. You can read reviews of the 440 and 4150 to see if one seems better than the other.

The 450 does appear to be the same as the NAD 4150. The 4150 was reviewed somewhat poorly in 1983. The 440 was reviewed well in 1985. So the 440 probably came after the 450. Features seem the same.
