Like it as much as the original. The guy reminds me of Roland Orzabal. Gots range.

Use to love to hear Banging in the Nails.
This is easier to listen to by far.

Saw that a while ago, very good. I saw he's performing locally soon.

This is Postmodern Jukebox - they do a lot of these with guest singers.

    Here is him alone... impressive.

Of course he is. His act isn't just singing, he's an honest-to-goodness clown. I've seen him live a few times, great show. But none of that is part of AGT.

Montycat dropped this one here several months ago.

    I've watched several since then.

He was on one of those "Bored America gores Talent" shows recently, and I saw him doing his schtick there.
I hate the show - we passed it while flipping channels and got sucked in ...!
I hope they payed him obscene money, he is actually good with a great voice!

Mike is a decent guy and possesses a fair amount of talent. I know him from years ago when he was in a band with a friend. It speaks to broader issues of talent and how it is valued when he has to dress up like a clown to get his music hear.

I bet dressing as a clown makes him less self-conscious about being 7 feet tall.

Why would anyone be self conscious of being 7 feet tall?

He does not have to dress like a clown.

Wish I could hear this live.

That's not really what I meant.

It just seems like ducking your head every time you went thru a door would get old.

....and dumb perfunctory questions; "How the air up there ?" "Do you play basketball ?"

Growing up my 2 best friends were abnormally tall, people use to be shocked when they met me and I was avg height if all they saw were pictures of me and my friends. They both had an abnormal fear of tall women.

One was walking and talking with me once, and when he turned his head and realized there was a woman his height, he got startled and jump. When she was out of ear shot, he says "holy crap, I'm not used to seeing a woman at eye level, that was freaky". The other was my room mate in college, and he'd always make us take the long way to the back door to our dorm room, because he didn't want to run into this tall girl that flirted with him.
